Switch your HairMaster off
Let it cool down
Push the metal grille toward the housing and then pull/tilt it out. The grille clips into two holes at the outer end of the HairMaster arm – have a quick look so you know where it releases before pushing or pulling.
Press the tube slightly inward toward one end so the opposite end pops free of its socket, then hinge it out gently. If it feels stuck: don’t force it. Give the tube a small twist while pressing inward. Once it releases you’ll feel it – you can then lift it out without resistance (older units can be a bit fiddly).
Do the same steps in reverse: insert one end into the socket, press lightly inward, and hinge the other end into place. Same rule as before: no force. A tiny twist while pressing into the socket can help it seat.
Reverse the removal: guide the grille back toward the arm and press it toward the housing so both ends click back into the two holes.
Plug in, switch your HairMaster on, and check that the tube heats smoothly and evenly.
